After thinking up new ways of developing my idea, I came to this final idea of adding loops and threading the hair though to look like an attachment of the snood. Rather than just pinning the snood in like they would have in the 40s I wanted to make it different, so the snood of hair is attached by the same wig. I am so happy with this design as it reflects my historical image and is almost identical in terms of ideas and placement but I have turned it much more contemporary. It still has that factory girl feel but it could be seen on the catwalk or even in a magazine. I have gone for a dark eye makeup look and a darker red lip so it still has that 40s feel.

Background: Great-grandaughter of Jean. She is a model and has appeared on vogue magazine. She always wears a poppy and never forgets her great-grandfather who fought in the war. Unfortunately she was born after her great-grandfather died and she was only a few years old when her great-grandmother died but she has photographs to help her remember them by.
Again, I have created a character profile as I wanted to create another character. I have made them related so that they have meaning towards one another and again the props link back to the historical assessment as she wears a poppy in remembrance of her great-grandfather. Because it showed in my historical assessment, I aim to do the same thing this time.
